July 8, 2008 - July 11, 2008 - A few days after my cruise, I took a trip to Discovery Bay with my parents. It's just an hour or two from Seattle, and you have to take a 30-minute ferry ride.
Discovery Bay lies within the Olympic Peninsula. I was able to visit Port Townsend, Port Angeles, Discovery Bay, and walk the scary Deception Pass. It was a pretty good trip, and I wish I was able to explore more.
