Canon's Chinese site briefly posted an official page for an EOS 50D a few days ago. It's down now but Google still has the page cached. Take this rumor with a grain of salt as there are a lot of rumors flying about lately due to Photokina 2008 being just around the corner. Still, an update to the XXD line doesn't really seem be out of the question considering how advanced Nikon's latest cameras are compared to Canon's.
The 50D's listed specs:- 15.1 megapixel sensor with 1.6x crop
- ISO 12800 through a DIGIC 4 Processor
- Dust reduction system
- 3-inch LCD
- Possible built-in Image Stabilization (however this may be a translation error)
