Cam and Cheese

Here are some pictures that I took from the Box Suite of the Canucks vs Red Wings games on November 24, 2008. The game was 2-2 going into Overtime and Sami Salo scored on the Power Play to win it for us.

Anyways, so the general rule when going to GM Place is that you can't bring a camera with a lens longer than a pen. But what I found out was that if you have club seats or a box suite, you can bring whatever you want. They never even checked my bag. I wish I brought my 80-200 :(. All I brought was my 17-50mm because I thought they'd take anything bigger.

Oh well, at least I know now.

Well, this is the view from a box suite if you don't know. It's pretty high up and kind of scary when you first get there.

Oh yah, so the food. From my experience you have a choice of what you want. The first time I went (Vancouver vs Minnesota), there were more kids so they had nachos, fajitas, pizza, chicken strips, etc. The second time I went (Vancouver vs Detroit) they had more grown up food. They still had the nachos, pizza, but for the entre they had chicken, wings, lamb, and seafood. The dessert was also very good.
